Oppo Find X9 Ultra Leak Indicates a Resolution Downgrade

Oppo is actively working on the launch of its Find X9 lineup, comprising at least four smartphones, including the Oppo Find X9 Ultra.

The other two handsets will be the Find X9, Find X9 Pro, and Find X9s.

A new leak has now emerged that gives details about the display of the Ultra variant in the series.

The latest leak appears in the form of a Weibo post by tipster Digital Chat Station. While the post does not mention any moniker explicitly, it is safe to assume that he is talking about the upcoming flagship Oppo Find X9 Ultra.

According to the post, the smartphone will have a large flat screen surrounded by ultra-narrow bezels. The display will come with a 1.5K resolution, which is a considerable dip from its predecessor. It will also incorporate LIPO technology.

Although not related to the display, the post also mentions that the handset will be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 chipset under its hood.

Other Expected Specs

Going by earlier reports, the screen size of the Find X9 Ultra will be 6.82 inches. The smartphone will house an in-screen ultrasonic fingerprint sensor.

In the camera department, the handset is reported to be equipped with four cameras on the back. These snappers will be a primary shooter with a resolution of 200 MP, an ultra-wide snapper with a resolution of 50 MP, and a couple of periscope telephoto cameras with 50 MP resolutions.

The Find X9 Ultra will come with Android 16, topped with the manufacturer’s ColorOS 16 out of the box.

The Find X9 and Find X9 Pro are anticipated to break cover this year in China in October. The Oppo Find X9 Ultra and Find X9s will see the light of day a few months later next year.
