Oppo Reno 13 Series 5G Release Date in Malaysia and India Officially Revealed

The Oppo Reno 13 series 5G comprising the Oppo Reno 13 and Reno 13 Pro was launched in China at the end of November last year.

Following this, the brand has officially confirmed through its X handle that the Oppo Reno 13 Series smartphones will be released globally in Malaysia and India within a week from now.

In India, the handsets will be available through online retailers and Oppo Store and offline in nearby stores.

Oppo Reno13 Series 5G Specifications

The series is expected to feature mostly the same specs as the Chinese variants with the differences being the color variants and storage options.

Both Oppo Reno 13 and 13 Pro have AMOLED displays with a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a brightness of 1200 nits. While the vanilla variant has a screen size of 6.59 inches, the Pro variant has a bigger screen of 6.83 inches.

Under the hood, both smartphones are powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 8350 processor and a Mali G615-MC6 GPU. They are available with 12 GB RAM and 256 GB or 512 GB storage and 16 GB RAM and 512 GB or 1 TB storage. The handsets operate on Android 15 based on the manufacturer’s ColorOS 15.

In the camera department, the Oppo Reno 13 has a 50 MP main camera and an 8 MP ultra-wide camera. On the other hand, the Oppo Reno 13 Pro houses a 50 MP main camera, a 50 MP telephoto camera, and an 8 MP ultra-wide camera. The two smartphones also have a 50 MP wide-angle shooter for the front camera.

The Oppo Reno 13 is powered by a 5600 mAh battery with 80 W wired fast charging and reverse wired charging. In contrast, the Oppo Reno 13 Pro has a 5,800 mAh battery with the same charging details and 50 W wireless fast charging.

The Oppo Reno 13 series will break cover in Malaysia on the 7th of January followed by the launch in India a couple of days later.
