The Oppo Reno 13 series comprising the Oppo Reno 13 and Oppo Reno 13 Pro has gained traction following the release of the manufacturer’s premium flagship Find X8 lineup.
While various leaks highlighted the expected specifications of the smartphones, official listings now share some confirmed details about their configurations and designs. Additionally, a Geekbench listing reveals the processor of the Pro variant.
Processor, RAM, and Storage
A recent Geekbench listing mentions the single-core and multi-core scores of the Oppo Reno 13 Pro. The listing mentions only the model number PKK110 of the handset and not its moniker. This could be the Chinese variant of the smartphone as the global variant is reported to be associated with the CPH2697 model number.
Going by the listing, the handset will be powered by an octa-core Dimensity 8300 chipset from MediaTek. This contradicts earlier reports that pointed out the possibility of a Dimensity 8350 processor. The same listing highlights that the smartphone will have 16 GB RAM. The different RAM and storage combinations are 12 GB RAM with 256 GB and 512 GB storage and 16 GB RAM with 512 GB and 1 TB storage.
The processor details of the vanilla Oppo Reno 13 are not yet known. However, the smartphone will offer the same RAM and storage options as the Pro variant along with a 16 GB RAM and 256 GB storage option.
Camera Setup
The Oppo Reno 13 series camera setup on the rear panels is almost identical with the visual difference only for the third camera and the LED flash module. This camera and the LED flash module have a circular design in the Reno 13 while they appear oblong in the Reno 13 Pro.
It is not clear what specifications the standard variant will feature. However, earlier reports mention that the Pro variant will have a 50 MP primary camera, a 50 MP telephoto camera, and an 8 MP camera.
Display Details
Past leaks mention that the Oppo Reno 13 will have a 6.59-inch flat screen with slightly thick bezels whereas the Oppo Reno 13 Pro will feature a 6.83-inch micro-quad-curved display with slim bezels.
