Oppo Reno 14 Lineup Screen Size and Battery Details Tipped Ahead of Launch

The Chinese brand Oppo is actively working on its upcoming Oppo Reno 14 lineup, comprising the Reno 14 and Reno 14 Pro.

A recent report by a noteworthy tipster shared some details about the series, such as the inclusion of a periscope camera and a flat display.

A new leak has now emerged again on Weibo by the same tipster Digital Chat Station, hinting primarily at the screen size and battery details of the smartphones.

The Oppo Reno 14 lineup will have the same screen size as that of its predecessor. The Remo 14 will have OLED LTPS panels with a 1.5K resolution. However, the standard variant will feature a 6.58-inch display whilst the Pro variant will stand slightly taller with a 6.83-inch display.

While the leak does not explicitly mention the size of the battery, it indicates that the handsets will house silicon batteries with at least 6,000 mAh capacities.

The leak also goes on to say that the Reno 14 series will have upgraded cameras and will offer an iPhone-like experience when they are used. The smartphones will also encompass narrow frames with a metal frame in the middle and sport an IP 68/69 rating.

Other Expected Reno 14 Pro Specs

Going by earlier reports, the handset will have two cameras in a vertical pill-like layout on the back, along with a third camera and an LED flash positioned on the side. The three cameras will be a main camera and a periscope camera with a resolution of 50 MP for each shooter. The periscope camera will support 3.5x optical zoom. The third camera will be an ultra-wide camera with a resolution of 8 MP.

The Reno 14 Pro will be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 8350 processor. It will come with Android 15 tipped with ColorOS 15 preinstalled.

The brand is known to roll out its Reno smartphones on a half-yearly basis. The Oppo Reno 14 lineup is expected to launch in China, its home country, in May this year. This will be followed by a global rollout in June or July.
