Unlike Valve’s Steam and Microsoft’s Xbox sales, Sony divides their sale season into different segments every week.
The ongoing Mid-year sale 2016 week 2 for PS4, PS3 and PS Vita platforms is easily the best one that you shouldn’t miss.
If you have any one of the Sony consoles, this is the best time to grab some games for it. After all, the offers that are available during the mid-year sale may not return and you will regret your choice. The year has almost come to a close and we have so many great titles to pick for each platform.
Playstation 4 Titles – God of War 3, Tearaway Unfolded, SOMA
God of War 3 remastered edition on the PS4 platform is a must buys, especially when it has a sixty percent off priced at $7.99. The game is a classic hit with some of the best hack and slash action packed moments. A new God of War is coming which is entirely different from what we are used to. So, give the HD version of the game a try.
Then, there’s the Tearaway Unfolded priced at $7.99. It hails from the PS Vita console but looks much better and plays awesome on the big home platform. SOMA an indie hit at $11.99 is another worthy purchase to take note of. Assassin’s Creed Chronicles is available at $14.99, Goat Simulator at $3.99 and a bunch of Grand Theft Auto V bundles are available with great discounts.
Playstation 3 –Guacamelee, GTA V Bundles, Assassin’s Creed Series
While the PS3 is not the next gen console experience you could ask for, if you still enjoying playing on it, there are some good titles available at Sony’s mid-year sale 2016. Assassin’s Creed III ultimate edition at $19.99 is a good title to have in your collection. Bound by Flame is priced at $10.49, Duck Dynasty at $14.69, most GTA V bundles and the platformer Guacamelee priced at $5.99. The game is available for cross buy and grants you access to the title on other platforms as well. A worthy purchase without a doubt.
PS Vita – Mortal Kombat, Resogun
The PS Vita receives very little attention from Sony and also from people who actually purchased the handheld console. Despite the hostility, it is still the best handheld to enjoy games like Assassin’s Creed Chronicles, Mortal Kombat, Tekken and other amazing racing games. Nintendo doesn’t offer any of them on the 3DS. This mid-year sale 2016 offers Mortal Kombat at $11.99 and Resogun at $5.99.
