Realme GT 2 Pro is reportedly in the works. This phone is expected to debut in early 2022 as the company’s first phone powered by the all-new Snapdragon 8 Gen1 mobile platform.
Ahead of the launch, model number RMX3300, which could belong to Realme GT 2 Pro, has appeared on AnTuTu with a record-breaking score.
Past reports have claimed that the Realme GT 2 Pro’s model number is RMX3301. However, the screenshot of an AnTuTu listing shared by Digital Chat Station belongs to a Realme phone with an RMX3300 model number. It is likely that the RMX3300 and RMX3301 could be the same phone with some variation.
Early leaks of the Realme GT 2 Pro had claimed that it is powered by the Snapdragon 888. However, tipsters from China have recently claimed that it is equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 that is set to go official by the end of this month. As shown in the screenshot, Realme has breached the 1 million score mark on the AnTuTu benchmarking site as it achieved 1,025,215.
Reports surrounding the Realme GT 2 Pro reveal that it has a 6.51-inch AMOLED display that offers Full HHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It is expected to feature a 32-megapixel front camera and its rear camera set up could be headlined by a 50MP snapper with OIS support. The latter is likely to be accompanied by 8MP and 5MP auxiliary cameras.
The GT 2 Pro may house a 5,000mAh battery that supports 125W fast charging. It is likely to feature LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. The device will come preinstalled with Realme UI 3.0 based Android 11. A previous report claimed that it may carry a price tag of 4,000 Yuan ($626). The GT 2 Pro may debut in January or February 2022.
