Even as Redmi is gearing up for the launch of its Redmi K80 lineup in China in a few days from now, the manufacturer is working on the release of its Redmi Turbo 4 series.

It is expected that there will be at least two smartphones, namely, Redmi Turbo 4 and Redmi Turbo 4 Pro.

3C Certification Listing

The vanilla variant, Redmi Turbo 4, has been spotted on China’s 3C certification platform with the model number 24129RT7CC. The listing does not reveal the moniker of the handset. It mentions that the smartphone will ship with a power adaptor featuring the model number MDY-14-EC.

This adaptor has two fast outputs of 5 to 20 VDC; 6.1 to 4 A and 3 to 6.5 VDC; 3 A as well as one 5 VDC; 3 A normal output along with a maximum power output of 90 W. This falls in line with a post by Digital Chat Station that the handset will feature 90 W fast charging.

Interestingly, the model number mentioned in the 3C certification database varies from the model number 2412DRT0AC for the same smartphone listed on the IMEI database.

The Turbo 4 Pro has not yet been listed on the 3C certification platform.

Expected Redmi Turbo 4 Series Specifications

Very little information is available about the series at the moment. According to a Weibo post by the above tipster about a month ago, the Turbo 4 will come with a Dimensity 8400 processor under the hood. On the other hand, the Turbo 4 Pro will feature a Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset that may also be called Snapdragon 8s Elite as Qualcomm has opted for the Snapdragon 8 Elite name instead of Snapdragon 8 Gen 4.

Both handsets are reported to come with AMOLED flat displays supporting a 1.5K resolution and 6,000 mAh batteries. They are likely to come with Android 15 topped with the manufacturer’s HyperOS 2.0 preinstalled.
