The Resident Evil 5 Remake has been discussed for some time now.
Though Capcom has not shared any confirmation about the game as yet, fans have been quite certain about it being in the works. Launched in 2009, Resident Evil 5 turned out to be a huge success.
The game drew the attention of players because of its many interesting features, including a shared-healing mechanic and dynamic player interaction. The gameplay was greatly driven by action and that left a lot of fans feeling exuberant. Many fans felt that if the game were remade today, it could become a huge success all over again.
If one goes by recent developments, there is a minuscule chance of fans getting to see a Resident Evil 9 Remake being launched anytime in the near future. Capcom, which is one of the biggest video game publishers in the world today, is known for being very supportive of franchises. Over the years, it nurtured several franchises and did everything in its capacity to ensure they became huge successes.
The first game in the Resident Evil franchise was launched way back in 1996. Since then, several games have been launched as a part of the franchise and each of them has been extremely successful. Survival horror game, as a genre, has evolved greatly over the decades and this is one franchise that has played a key role in its evolution.

A Resident Evil movie is scheduled to release soon. At the moment, the entire gaming community is wondering when one will get to play the next Resident Evil game. Recently, one came across rumors suggesting that Resident Evil 9 will be revealed sometime this week. Whether that happens or not is something one will get to know soon. However, what fans have also been equally interested in knowing is when they will get to see the Resident Evil 9 remake being out. In the past, Capcom has successfully remade some of the Resident Evil games and equipped them with important narrative changes and modernized controls. Fans, therefore, are expecting a lot from the Resident Evil 9 remake.

The studio does not seem to have started the development process of Resident Evil 5 Remake as yet. Dusk Golem, a reliable Resident Evil insider, recently put up a post on X stating that he does not have any information about a Resident Evil 5 remake being in the works. He, however, is certain about the fact that it will be made and released sometime in the future.
