Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge received a new blue coral color variant a while ago and even though it had been rumored that the new model will be released in Canada, there was no talk of the carriers that will be selling the handset.
Well, Rogers has now come out clear with the message – that it will be selling the new blue coral Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge to the Canadian people. This is good news for those who had dreamed of having the same hue on the Galaxy Note 7 – a phone that is now resting in peace.
Be warned that the new blue coral color doesn’t affect the smaller Samsung Galaxy S7. So, if you want the 5.1-inch model, you will have to stick with the current color variants, although there is word that the company could release a new glossy black color for the smaller S7.
Rogers is already letting potential buyers make reservations for the new Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge color variant via this official link. Alternatively, the South Korean tech giant is also selling the blue coral variant on the official Canadian website as well as through its Samsung Experience stores in the country. The phone is currently selling at $1000 CAD.
Just to keep you in the loop, Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge has a 5.5-inch dual-edge AMOLED screen with QHD resolution. It looks like a smaller Galaxy Note 7 without an S Pen and iris scanner, but you still get the best hardware of 2016 – a Snapdragon 820, 4GB RAM and 32GB of expandable storage. The camera has been hailed as one of the best over the time of its existence, only for its crown to be stolen by the recent arrivals – Google Pixel XL and iPhone 7 Plus. However, none of these two beats the Galaxy S7 Edge when it comes to battery capacity, which stands at 3600mAh.
