Apple is rumored to be planning an event in early April, during which a new 10.5-inch iPad Pro will reportedly be unveiled at its new Apple Park campus, a new report coming from Taiwan claims.
The Cupertino Company was previously rumored to be planning a release of the 10.5-inch iPad Pro somewhere in May or probably June, but the latest reports claim that the tech giant has “moved ahead of production” and thus the device could be ready to “mark the inauguration” of the new Apple Park campus.
It is not the first time we are hearing about the possible launch of a 10.5-inch iPad Pro and a series of other tablets at a spring event, but it is the first time there’s an actual hint of an upcoming Apple event. Not so long ago, Mac Rumors reported that Apple could be planning an event in about a week’s time. At this event, the publication mentioned that a series of devices were to be unveiled. But as it turns out, this rumored event could be the same one being touted for early April.
Other than the 10.5-inch iPad Pro, which is said to debut with thinner bezels and an almost edge-to-edge display screen, the event will also see the usual 9.7-inch and 12.9-inch iPad Pro versions refreshed. There’s also talk of a possible release of a larger storage iPhone SE, which will house 128GB of internal storage.
Of course, these are unconfirmed reports, but it seems an event is indeed around the corner, with many reports suggesting that the new iPads will be here within the coming month of April. Apparently, Apple wants to target the education and business class with both the rumored 10.5-inch iPad Pro and the revamped 12.9-inch variant.
As noted earlier, rumors claim that the 10.5-inch iPad Pro will come with an almost bezel-free display screen, but this panel will fit in the same body size as the current 9.7-inch iPad Pro. We should know the truth in this in a few weeks’ time, as for now, do keep in mind that these are still rumors.
