Samsung Galaxy A5 2017 and Galaxy A7 2017 Launched in Peach Cloud and Blue Mist

Samsung Galaxy A5 2017

Samsung Galaxy A5 2017 and Galaxy A7 2017 are undoubtedly two of the best phones in the midrange market right now.

This is not just because of their excellent flagship-like designs, but also because of the specs and features they bring to the table. The two were made official earlier this year, but the tech giant still has more surprises other than the 16MP front and back cameras featured on both handsets.

Many were surprised in the efforts Samsung showed towards the camera aspect of the Galaxy A5 2017 and Galaxy A7 2017, but this did not surprise them as much as the IP68 dust and water resistance rating. To make the two phones even much better and more unique, Samsung is adding two new color variants to the phone dubbed Peach Cloud and Blue Mist. This is an unusual naming scheme from Samsung, especially since there was the option of simply going with light pink and blue.

Nonetheless, Samsung Galaxy A5 2017 and Galaxy A7 2017 are already amazing phones and with these colors, they get even better as far as style is concerned. The two share most of the specs and features, but the major difference is their screen size. Where the former has a 5.2-inch screen, the latter ships with a monstrous 5.7-inch screen. The bigger screen on the Galaxy A7 2017 also means that the phone gets a larger battery than the 5.2-inch model.

An Exynos 7880 octa-core powers both phones alongside a RAM of 3GB and 32GB of expandable storage. Although they come with Android Marshmallow, we expect Samsung to release Android Nougat at some point in the second half of this year. Battery-wise, Samsung Galaxy A5 2017 has a 3000mAh unit while the Galaxy A7 2017 has a massive 3600mAh unit. Both support fast charging technology as well as Samsung Pay out of the box.

At the moment, the Peach Cloud and Blue Mist color variants are only available in Malaysia, but we hope other markets will also see these two colors. Keep following and we’ll let you know when this happens.
