Samsung Galaxy A7 2017 Passes by AnTuTu Benchmarks, 3GB RAM Confirmed

Samsung Galaxy A7 (2016)

Samsung Galaxy A7 2017 has been spotted on AnTuTu, adding the significantly growing number of Galaxy A devices that the company has been rolling out in the recent past.

The Galaxy A7 2017 is just another midranger from Samsung, coming to join the likes of Samsung Galaxy C and Galaxy J series, however, the Galaxy A series is considered the closest you can get to the flagship Galaxy S series.

The new leaks of this supposed Samsung Galaxy A7 2017 come in form of 3D renders. The rumor comes just after the release of the Galaxy C9 Pro, the company’s first smartphone to be powered by a massive 6GB RAM. Given that this is not the first time the A7 2017 has shown up in leaks, it is easy to deduce that Samsung has plans to unveil the phone in the coming weeks, especially now that it has made it through AnTuTu benchmarking platform.

According to the benchmarking site, the new Samsung Galaxy A7 2017 will come with a Full HD screen, meaning you get a 1080p resolution. Under the hood, the phone will be powered by a 64-bit Exynos 7870 octa-core processor that is paired with a Mali-T830 graphics unit alongside a flagship RAM of 3GB. In addition to this amazing specs sheet, the report further adds that the phone will have an onboard storage of 64GB. As usual with Samsung phones, a microSD card slot will be available for extended storage.

It seems Samsung is also targeting the photogenic customers with this new Galaxy A7 2017 handset. Apparently, there will be a 16MP sensor on the front for selfies, with a similar 16MP snapper on the back. However, it is possible that the latter could be a lot stronger and better than the former. But this is not a guarantee, so, don’t be surprised if both snappers came with the same sensor.

Samsung has yet to get its hands on a stable Android Nougat and as such, this phone will still be powered by the older Android Marshmallow out of the box.

In an earlier leak, the Galaxy A7 2017 had been confirmed to feature a 5.5-inch screen and a processor clocked at 1.8GHz. Now that we have a new leak that basically confirms the resolution of the screen, the type of processor, RAM size and other important aspects of the phone, what remains to be seen is only the release date. We’ll let you know when Samsung plans to make this new Galaxy A7 2017 available to the public.
