Several variants of Samsung Galaxy A7 (2018) with beginning model number SM-A750 have acquired approval from Wi-Fi Alliance certification body.

[Update: Jan 18]: Several variants of two more Samsung smartphones, namely Galaxy A8 (2018) with model number SM-A530 and Galaxy A9 (2018) SM-A920 have also bagged WFA approval with Android 9 Pie onboard. Both these devices were supposed to get Pie update by April 2019 along with Galaxy A7 (2018) and this certification only seems to hint at earlier release.

[Original: Jan 17]: Just before Christmas last year, Samsung sent updates to its users via Samsung Members app highlighting its plans of Android Pie upgrade rollout to several of its devices that were slated to get Android Pie OS.

Coming to the Wi-Fi certification, we can see as many as ten different variants of the Galaxy A7 phone that have been certified with Android Pie.
