Samsung Galaxy A90 smartphone with model number SM-A908N has been spotted in Geekbench today with high end specs.
From the Geekbench listing, we can see that the phone is powered by the mighty Snapdragon 855 processor, 6GB RAM and runs with Android Pie out of the box. The Geekbench scores are 3458 for single core and 10852 for multi core processing. Galaxy SM-A9050 which appeared in Geekbench last month was seen with Snapdragon 675 SoC and 6GB RAM. The performance of SM-A9050 phone is slightly less than today’s SM-A908N, as expected with the processors.
The model variant that has appeared in Geekbench, with suffix ‘N’, indicates that this belongs to South Korea. If reports from GalaxyClub are to be believed, this model is mainly intended towards the home market, which is South Korea and is likely to come with 5G connectivity and might even be called Galaxy A90 5G.
The phone is expected to have 32 MP camera sensor at the rear and a 8 MP selfie camera, which is pretty similar to the setup in Galaxy A70. As of now, we can’t confirm whether there is a third camera sensor or a pop up camera mechanism present in this phone.
The Galaxy A90 5G variant is expected to support super fast charging at 45W. This was confirmed by a tweet by Ice Universe, the reliable Samsung tipster.
Like the Note10 Pro, the A90 5G version also supports 45w ultra-fast charging.

As we all know, the initial Galaxy A90 was renamed to Galaxy A80. Given the naming convention followed by Samsung, we can hope that this device will be called Galaxy A90. However, there are rumors that Samsung Galaxy A90 will be released under the new ‘R’-series. Reports also indicate that Samsung might be working on two phones in the R-series and both the phones will feature triple camera setup and big display.
