Samsung Galaxy C5 Pro and C7 Pro

Samsung Galaxy C5 Pro and the Galaxy C7 Pro are almost here as leaks of the two are all over. We now have access to the supposed images of the upcoming Samsung midrange phones, but this is not all.

In fresh leaks coming from China, the 2016 Samsung Galaxy C series will finally be getting the long-awaited siblings dubbed Samsung Galaxy C5 Pro and Galaxy C7 Pro. The addition of the Pro moniker means that the two phones will be superior to their predecessors in almost all ways.

After going through China’s TENAA, the Galaxy C5 Pro has finally leaked in real flesh. Samsung seems to be pushing towards thinner bezels for all of its upcoming phones, with the Galaxy C5 Pro following the Galaxy A 2017 series in trimming its bezels when compared to their predecessors. The home button is still there on which a fingerprint sensor shall be mounted.

From earlier leaks, Samsung Galaxy C5 Pro will be shipping with a 5.2-inch Full HD Super AMOLED display screen. Under the hood, there will be a Snapdragon 626 SoC that is paired with a RAM of 4GB, although an earlier report had claimed that 3GB will be the amount used on the phone. As for the storage, a 64GB onboard memory chip is on the cards, although not confirmed.

Samsung Galaxy C5 Pro will do a Galaxy A5 2017 in terms of cameras, coming in with 16MP snappers on both ends. To keep the lights up is a 3000mAh battery unit that should support fast charging, however, the phone will come with Android Marshmallow out of the box.

As for the Galaxy C7 Pro, leaks also showed up giving up all the details about the looks of the phone. The phone will be coming in a gold color variant as leaked in the photos, but there should be a pink variant in the works as well. In terms of specs, Samsung Galaxy C7 Pro has a larger 5.7-inch Super AMOLED display panel with a Full HD resolution. Apparently, the RAM will be 4GB while the storage will be similar to the smaller Galaxy C5 Pro. Like the Galaxy A7 2017, you get a 16MP snapper on either side of the phone and being a larger than the C5 Pro, the C7 Pro also gets a larger 3300mAh battery unit that should also support fast charging. Like Samsung Galaxy C5 Pro, Android Marshmallow will power the C7 Pro out of the box.

Having delayed the launch of the phone past December, rumors are rife that the Galaxy C5 Pro and C7 Pro will be launched before the end of this month. Since they will be launching in China first, price details for the local market have already been leaked as well. Apparently, the smaller C5 Pro will trade at CNY 2399, which is about $346 while the larger C7 Pro will be valued at CNY 2799, about $404.
