Samsung Galaxy C7 and Galaxy C5 are the two phones Samsung is expected to release in the near future, even before the announcement of Samsung Galaxy Note 6.

Rumors about the two upper-mid-range phones have been all over the web, but it has now emerged that the two are indeed coming. New image leaks have shown up regarding the rumored Samsung Galaxy C7 and C5 ahead their expected unveiling in China on May 26.

In the leaked images, the supposed Galaxy C7 or C5 for that matter appears to be built of a metal unibody with the rear showing signs of antenna bands. In addition, the leaked images also show a physical home button that will probably be home to a fingerprint scanner. The images have a Samsung logo on both front and rear panels of the Galaxy C series phone.

Specs and pricing details

As for the specs and pricing Samsung Galaxy C7 and C5, reports are rife that the Galaxy C7 will come with a larger display panel of between 5.5-5.7 inches with Full HD resolution. The top end C7 will pack a Snapdragon 625 SoC and a RAM of 4GB. As for the Galaxy C5, expect to come across a Snapdragon 617 SoC with a similar RAM of 4GB.

Samsung Galaxy C7 will reportedly come with onboard storage of 32GB and another option of 64GB. This is the same storage configuration of the Galaxy C5, however, the larger C7 has a larger battery capacity of 3000mAh as compared to the 2600mAh of the C5. The two handsets will be powered by the latest Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow.

As for the pricing matters, a new leaked publication claims that the two handsets might be priced higher than what many expected. As for Samsung Galaxy C7 (32GB), you will need at least $400 whereas the 64GB version will set you back about $430. On the other hand, Samsung Galaxy C7 (32GB) will set you back about $340 while the 64GB variant requires about $370.

As mentioned earlier, the launch of Samsung Galaxy C7 and C5 is expected to take place in China towards the end of next week.
