Recent reports have revealed that Galaxy J4 Core with model number SM-J410F and Galaxy J4 Prime with model number SM-J415F are the upcoming J-series phones from Samsung.
Today, the Galaxy J4 Core phone has appeared on Geekbench benchmarking platform to confirm some of its key specs.
The Geekbench listing of the Samsung SM-J410F shows that its modest specifications are good enough to arrive as Android Go smartphone. The handset is pre-installed with Android 8.1 Oreo. It is fueled by mm8937 SoC which is nothing but Snapdragon 430 chipset. The SoC is coupled with only 1 GB of RAM. The low amount of RAM suggests that it could be running on Android Go version of Android Oreo. In single-core and multi-core tests, the alleged Samsung Galaxy J4 Core phone has respectively scored 641 and 1682 points.
There is no confirmation on when Samsung will be launching the Galaxy J4 Core handset because it is yet to officially announce the Galaxy J2 Core Android Go smartphone that has been in the news since quite some time.
The SM-J415F smartphone was also spotted on the same benchmarking platform earlier in this month. The handset was found with specs like Android 8.1 Oreo, Snapdragon 430 and 2 GB of RAM. The smartphone has respectively scored 647 and 1741 in single-core and multi-core tests of Geekbench.
Samsung has already launched its 2018 flagship smartphones. Now that Samsung Galaxy J4 Core, J4 Prime and J2 Core smartphones have surfaced in the recent, it appears that the company could be preparing to launch some entry-level phones. Hence, it is likely that these phones may get announced gradually in the coming months.
