Samsung released its mid-range smartphone, the Samsung Galaxy M55 in the first quarter of this year in March.
A piece of recent news highlighted that a new variant called Samsung Galaxy M55s is in the works by the manufacturer. An image and very few details of the handset were made available at that time.

Tipster Mukul Sharma has recently posted some interesting insights about the upcoming Galaxy M55s on the widespread X platform. These include images and some possible key specifications of the smartphone.

According to the life-like images, the smartphone will be available in two color choices of black and blue. The leak mentions that the M55s will depict the manufacturer’s new Fusion design. A careful analysis of the images reveals that the back panel of the smartphone will have a three-part design.

There will be a matte portion in the top followed by a glossy portion in the center. The image additionally reveals a striped section that starts from just below the bottommost camera module and extends all the way down to just about two-thirds of the overall height of the handset. This striped feature is a key distinction from the Galaxy M55.
Specifications
The specifications mentioned by the tipster are still speculative as the manufacturer has not made any confirmation or official statement in this regard. The specs are much the same as that of the present Samsung Galaxy M55.
Going by the tipster’s statements, the Samsung Galaxy M55s will encompass a sAMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120 Hz. The smartphone will come with a 5000 mAh battery supporting 45 W fast charging and incorporate a Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chipset.

The same leak hints that the smartphone will have a triple rear-camera setup comprising a 50 MP primary camera with OIS, a 2 MP macro camera, and an 8 MP ultra-wide lens. The M55s will come with a 50 MP front shooter for video calls and selfies.
An earlier leak mentions that the Galaxy M55s will feature 8 GB RAM and 128 GB inbuilt storage along with a microSD card slot.
The Samsung Galaxy M55s is expected to retail at a price of around INR 20,000 that is approximately USD 238.
