Samsung Galaxy Note 6 Accessories Confirmed ahead of Official Release

Samsung Galaxy Note 6 may still be months away from its expected date of release, but we already have an idea of the accessories this device will be accompanied with.

Ever since the era of Samsung Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge, the company’s accessories have been getting a lot better, premium and even more useful. With each high-end phone from Samsung coming with a group of accessories these days, we expect to see the same happen with the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Note 6.

According to reports coming from SamMobile, the Galaxy Note 6 will come with similar accessories as those for the flagship Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge. For starters, we’ll have the same case options for the phablet coming in seven different variants. In addition, the phone will come with the company’s LED Flip wallet, S View cover, Clear View cover, screen protector, leather cover, Backpack battery pack, and a Lens Cover. Since quick wireless charging is available for the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge, the same is expected to feature on the Galaxy Note 6. With this in mind, Samsung will probably include a wireless charging pad. You can also expect to have a snap-on keyboard attachment for your Galaxy Note 6, among other accessories.

Samsung Galaxy Note 6 possible specs

There is currently very little known about the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Note 6. However, rumors have been rife that the South Korean tech giant is working on a premium, monster phablet that will rightfully replace the successful Galaxy Note 4 and Galaxy Note 5. As a result, the company will place a larger 5.8-inch screen size on the phablet, making it the largest ever device in the Galaxy Note series. The screen will come with QHD resolution and include an Always-On display, just like the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge.

Under the hood, the phone will possibly pack the same Snapdragon 820 or Exynos 8890 chipset used in the flagship S7 and S7 Edge. However, there are other rumors pointing towards a Snapdragon 823 SoC in the making, something that neither Samsung nor Qualcomm have confirmed. A recently leaked screenshot revealed that the Galaxy Note 6 will pack a RAM of 6GB. Given that the S7 Edge has a bumped up battery unit of 3600mAh, rumors are pointing to an even larger capacity for the Note 6, in addition to IP68 certification.

The microSD card made its way back to the S7 and S7 Edge. This is expected to feature on the upcoming phablet as well. With Android N having already reached its second beta stage, there are reports that Samsung Galaxy Note 6 might be launched with this OS on board; however, just like other rumored specs of the phone, this cannot be confirmed.
