There have been numerous rumors about the Samsung Galaxy Note 7, but there was a danger of these rumors turning out to be false.

In the case of this new Samsung smartphone, however, they have mostly been right. As a result, the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 is now the new top dog in the Samsung lineup.

It is also the first Samsung smartphone to be equipped with the USB Type-C port. It may lack quick charging 3.0 feature, but the convenience of being able to plug in the charging cable without having to worry about the side it is facing is a huge relief. Apart from its ability to support quick charging 2.0, the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 also comes with the wireless charging capabilities. The variety of charging techniques are especially needed on a phone like the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 since it comes with a huge 3500 mAh battery. Recent rumors suggested that the phone would even be equipped with a 4000 mAh battery or beyond, but they have turned out to be false.

Note-7

The Samsung Galaxy Note 7 has the ability to last for a day with moderate usage on this battery. However, there are several avenues available for the user to exploit the multimedia capabilities starting with the 12-megapixel rear camera. It is supplemented by a five-megapixel front camera. Of course, these are the specifications found on the Samsung Galaxy S7 but it is not necessarily a bad thing given that the camera is already regarded as one of the best. It is a f/1.7 lens with the ability to shoot 4K videos.

A major disappointment would be the lack of 6 GB of RAM. This was seen as one of the defining features of the Samsung Galaxy Note 7, but it is obvious that the South Korean company may have decided to wait for its first 6 GB RAM on a smartphone. The obvious disappointment in the RAM department is somewhat compensated by the snapdragon 820 processor. The phone may also be available with the Exynos 8890 depending on the region sold. Other aspects of the device like the 64 GB of internal storage and 256 GB of memory expansion are sure to help the user exploit the full multimedia capabilities of the device.

The iris scanner is a feature that makes its debut on the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 and it already is extremely fast at unlocking the device.
