Samsung Galaxy Note 8 Design Sketch and Specs Leaked – 6.4-inch QHD+ Display Screen and 6GB RAM Flaunted

With Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+ not yet even out, we still quite a long way to go before Samsung Galaxy Note 8 is here. However, rumors and leaks of the Galaxy Note 7 successor are already beginning to show up.

A few weeks ago, it emerged that Samsung Galaxy Note 8 will be codenamed Great and that it will ship with model number SM-N950F. If anything, this is just about everything that this leak gave out, however, we now have fresh leaks or rather rumors about the Galaxy Note 8 thanks to Slashleaks.

Apparently, Samsung Galaxy Note 8 will come in with a monster display screen of 6.4 inches. With the Galaxy S8 and S8+ set to debut huge 5.8-inch and 6.2-inch panels, many were asking what the Galaxy Note 8 will come with, especially since it has always been the phablet variant. Well, you have your answer, but this will depend on whether or not this rumor remains to be true.

Nonetheless, it makes perfect sense for the Galaxy Note 8 to feature such a monstrous screen for it would be the only way of maintaining the phablet status of the Note series over the S series. Like the S8 and S8+, the leaked schematics confirm that the 6.4-inch panel will also be curved and have a WQHD+ or even go for an UHD resolution. Under the hood, you can expect the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC to power the device, but some variants will come with an Exynos processor.

Despite the processor differences, be ready for the first 6GB RAM flagship from Sammy alongside an impressive 256GB storage and of course, microSD card storage should also be part of the deal. The schematics also reveal that the device will still come in with an iris scanner, a USB-C port, S-Pen, dual speakers and a 3.5mm audio jack.

If this truly happens, Samsung Galaxy Note 8 will be bringing competition to Xiaomi’s front door, with the latter already boasting the 6.4-inch Xiaomi Mi MIX and has a Mi MIX 2 in the works. Lenovo also has a Phab2 Pro in the same 6.4-inch display screen category, but this one packs a midrange processor in the shape of Snapdragon 652.
