Samsung Galaxy S25 FE Likely to Use the Exynos 2400 Processor Found in Galaxy S24

Galaxy S24 FE

Samsung is actively working on its Galaxy S25 FE along with the remaining smartphones in the Galaxy S25 series.

Over the days, there have been quite a few rumors about the handset. A new leak has now surfaced mentioning the processor that would be equipped in the Samsung Galaxy S25 FE smartphone.

The latest news by tipster Chun Bhai on the popular X platform mentions that the Galaxy S25 FE will follow the lines of the Galaxy 24 and incorporate an Exynos 2400 processor under the hood. He goes on to add that all the other smartphones in the Galaxy S25 series other than the Galaxy S25 Ultra will encompass the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor from Qualcomm. This statement falls in line with the statement by another tipster who mentioned that the Exynos 2500 would be introduced by Samsung in the Galaxy Z Flip 7.

It is worth keeping in mind that the manufacturer has not made any official announcement yet about the processor it plans to use in the Galaxy S25 FE and the rest of the lineup. Hence, it is advisable to consider the above information with a pinch of salt, especially as some other rumors hint that the smartphone will make use of a MediaTek processor.

Interestingly, the predecessor Galaxy S24 FE housed an Exynos 2400e chipset, a modified Exynos 2400 processor with a slight underclocking. This led to expectations that the Galaxy S25 FE would incorporate an Exynos 2500e chipset. However, this is not likely to be the case as there is no base Exynos 2500 processor yet.

As far as the release date is concerned, the smartphone is expected to be launched in April 2025 and compete with the iPhone SE 4 which is said to arrive in early 2025.
