It’s yet another day and we have yet another Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+ leak for you. According to reports in Italy, the Galaxy S8 will be valued an impressive 829 euros, which also means you get the Galaxy S8+ at a much higher price than earlier thought.
Previous rumors had pegged the price of Samsung Galaxy S8 at 799 euros, but if reports in Italy are to be believed, this rumored figure will get an increment of 30 euros. As for the larger S8+, potential buyers in Italy should set aside a whopping 929 euros. On the contrary, separate reports coming from the Netherlands still peg the Galaxy S8 and S8+ at 799 euros and 899 euros. In fact, it gets even better as this report adds that the Dutch can start placing pre-orders for the two phones on the same day they’ll be announced – March 29.
This is set to be the most expensive Samsung Galaxy S series phone yet, but it might make you feel a little bit better knowing that folks in Apple’s camp will have to shell out in excess of $1000 in order to get their hands on the iPhone 8. But that’s a story for another day.
Unlike LG where pre-orders of the G6 are accompanied by a bunch of freebies in different markets, reports claim that Samsung Galaxy S8 will come without such offers. Still, this could be market dependent. Note that not all of these reports have been confirmed, but we should do so very soon.
Samsung is expected to unveil the Galaxy S8 and S8+ next week Wednesday and it is only then that’ll be able ti know the exact specs, features, pricing, and availability of the two phones. As for now, treat these are rumors.
On another separate account, a Samsung Galaxy S8 video teaser has also appeared online. Unlike the pricing and availability reports, this one comes from Samsung itself. The tech giant has posted the video on TVCF, the leading Ad portal in South Korea. If this teaser is anything to go by, Samsung has just confirmed that the S8 and S8+ will definitely feature an iris scanner.
