Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 and Galaxy Tab A Discounted by up to $100 in the U.S.

Galaxy Tab S2

At the MWC 2017, Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 was unveiled. What this meant was that the predecessor to this tablet will start seeing discounts and as it stands, this is exactly what is happening for folks in the U.S.

A quick look at the official Samsung Mobile online store for the U.S. market will reveal a number of discounts that also include the Galaxy Tab A. At the moment, you can get your hands on a brand new Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 for a price of just $299.99. This means you save a decent $100, but this discount has not only been slammed on the 8-inch variant that carries 32GB of onboard storage, but also the 9.7-inch model with the same storage capacity.

The Galaxy Tab S2 8-inch model joins the 9.7-inch variant in getting a $100 discount via Samsung’s official store, with the latter having received the discount a few days ago. As for the 9.7-inch model, the same $100 discount drops the price from $499.99 to $399.99, which is still not bad for a device that was released in 2016.

If this is too much for you, the same retailer has listed the Galaxy Tab A at a price of $169.99, down from $199.99. This means you save a small $30 for the 8-inch tablet. In terms of features, the Galaxy Tab S2 has a Snapdragon 652 that is paired with a RAM of 3GB and as noted earlier, you get 32GB of storage. The battery is at 4000mAh while the cameras have an 8MP sensor on the back and a 2.1MP shooter on the front.

As for the Galaxy Tab A, you get a quad-core processor that is paired with a RAM of 1.5GB and storage of 16GB. Unlike the Galaxy Tab S2, you get a slightly bigger 4200mAh battery unit, a 5MP main camera and a 2MP shooter for selfies.

Be warned that these offers are not here to last. Samsung has confirmed that they’ll only be available until June 24.
