Samsung is reported to working on budget-friendly foldables including the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip FE.
There will also be an affordable Galaxy Z Fold. These two smartphones will be a part of the manufacturer’s Fan Edition series. There is limited information about the above-mentioned smartphones at this moment. A new leak has now given a hint about the processor that can be expected in the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip FE.
Galaxy Z Flip FE Processor
According to a post by tipster Jukanlosreve, the Z Flip FE will incorporate the manufacturer’s very own Exynos 2400 processor. This processor was used by Samsung for the first time in its Galaxy S24 lineup in select regions.
The Samsung Galaxy Z foldables have so far always been equipped with a Snapdragon chipset from Qualcomm in all markets where they have been launched. If the leak is anything to go by, this will be the first time that Samsung is making a deviation from this trend by shifting to an Exynos processor.
According to an earlier report, the affordable foldable would have toned-down internals to minimize its costs. This is likely to change if the manufacturer does opt for its current flagship Exynos 2400 chipset in the smartphone.
It must be kept in mind that the processor will be a year and a half old by the time the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip FE is launched in the market.
Galaxy Z Flip 7
In the same leak, the tipster also reveals the processor that is likely to be housed in the upcoming regular foldable, Galaxy Z Flip 7. He states that this smartphone will encompass the Exynos 2500 SoC that Samsung is currently working on.
As the manufacturer is still tight-lipped about details relating to the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip FE, it is worth noting that there is no confirmation that Samsung will opt for the processor mentioned. There may be a change and we are likely to have more details about the handset in the coming months.
