A new Sony phone with a model number of H8416 has appeared on GFXBench benchmarking platform. Since it is packed with flagship specs, it is speculated that it could be the upcoming Sony Xperia XZ3 flagship phone may go official at the IFA tech trade show event in September this year.

As it can be seen in the listing, the Sony H8416 smartphone features a 5.9-inch display that supports QHD+ resolution of 2880 x 1440 pixels. It is the first Sony phone ever to feature such a resolution.

The presence of Adreno 630 graphics is a clear indication that it is fueled by Snapdragon 845 chipset. It is accompanied by 6 GB of RAM and it includes an inbuilt storage of 128 GB. The Sony H8416 is preinstalled with Android 9.0.

The upcoming Sony flagship phone is expected to arrive with a dual camera setup. However, GFXBench has listed that it features a single 19-megapixel sensor. Probably, it could be one of the two sensors of the dual rear cameras that will be available on the Sony H8416 smartphone. The handset features a front-facing camera of 13-megapixel.

Recent reports have revealed that the upcoming Sony Xperia XZ3 will be borrowing the 19-megapixel + 12-megapixel dual camera setup as well as the 13-megapixel selfie snapper from the Xperia XZ2 Premium that was launched earlier this year. Some of the recently leaked images of the alleged Sony Xperia XZ3 have also shown the presence of vertically aligned dual camera setup on its back.

Since GFXBench listing can be easily faked, there is no confirmation whether the above listing is real. Moreover, the direct link to the listing is also unavailable. Hence, it is recommended to digest this report with a grain of salt.
