A new fan-made map of Hammerfell has got fans more excited about this long-in-the-making game.

By the time The Elder Scrolls 6 finally comes out, it might create a record of sorts. A formal announcement about the game was made at the prestigious Electronic Entertainment Expo event organized on June 10, 2018. At the event, Todd Howard, who is the executive producer and director at Bethesda Game Studios, presented the attendees with a brief teaser trailer of the game. It has been 7 years since this happened and as we know, the game is far from being ready.

Despite the long waiting period Bethesda is making fans go through, the excitement around the game continues to remain high.

Fans are quite certain that the wait will be worth it and the studio will leave no stone unturned to ensure the title lives up to the mammoth expectations one has from it.

In the last 7 years, fans have tried to create a picture of The Elder Scrolls 6 in their heads based on the clues and rumors they have come across from time to time. At this point, one of the things fans are certain about is that the game will be set in Hammerfell, a location which is found to be at the northeast of Skyrim.

Ever since fans have arrived at a consensus about this, there have been conversations around what this map could be like. All these intense discussions have now led to a user named Khalil Heron putting together a version of the Hammerfell map. Based on the reactions that have been coming, one can assume that fans are quite happy with Heron’s imagination and detailing.

As soon as Heron’s version of this map went online, gamers started sharing their reactions on multiple platforms, including Reddit.

While one user appreciated Heron for putting in the effort, another user stated that they would want this to be the real map.

The massive size of The Elder Scrolls 6 is said to be one of the reasons why it has been through the development process for so long.
