Last week, we witnessed the announcement of three new phones, the OnePlus 3, the Xiaomi Redmi 3S and the Meizu m3s.
There were plenty of rumors regarding these devices during the past few weeks, so the announcement was surely a much-awaited one. The OnePlus 3 is a premium device, whereas the other two are mid range ones.
Invite Free This Time Around
This is a flagship smartphone offered at the price of $399 and is an invite free phone, so anyone interested can order it immediately. Previously, the OnePlus phones came in the invite system. Potential users would have to register an interest in the device and when the device unit was ready, they would be sent a message and an invite for buying the phone.
Gorgeous Device
The OnePlus 3 comes with a full HD, Optic, AMOLED screen display and has a dimension of 5.5 inches. It is powered by andSoC, Snapdragon 820, and offers an internal storage of 64 GB, with a 6 GB RAM.
The OnePlus 3 seems to be a very impressive device with Dash Charge and other eye-popping specifications. It is the best value that you can get for your money, seen since a long time. The phone is a bargain at the price. The OnePlus 2 was a great success last year and it is expected that this phone will also follow suit, though the launch was quite low key.
Mid Range Devices – Similar on Many Counts
The Xiaomi Redmi 3S and the Meizu m3s are mid range phones. The two phones have a lot in common, apart from their names. Both the smartphones have a screen display of 5 inches with a resolution of 720 pixels. The phones come with a RAM of 2 GB or a 3GB RAM and offer two options of internal storage, 16 GB and 32 GB. Both the devices are powered by an octa core SoC and have four Cortex A 53. The front camera on both these phones has a resolution of 5 MP and the primary or rear camera comes with a resolution of 13 MP.
The Rest of the Offerings
There are also other offerings this week. There are two phones offered by LG, with LG X coming with decent specifications. It has a QHD display of 5.5 inches and is powered by a Snapdragon, 650 SoC and a RAM of 3 GB. It has 32 GB of internal storage and the main camera has a resolution of 12 MP. The other phone from LG, the LG X max is likely to be the bigger one of the two.
The New Asus Phones
Another new offering this weak that made the headlines is the Zenfone Pegasus 3. This is also a mid range phone with 5.2 inches screen. It has a RAM of 2 GB as well as 3 GB and is powered by a quad core CPU. Another exclusive tablet being offered by Verizon is the Asus ZenPad Z8.
