Though this news might upset some fans, they should seek respite in the fact that these modes will be removed on a temporary basis.
On September 26, a new update was rolled out for GTA Online. This GTA Online update marked the arrival of new discounts and bonuses in the game. Next week, GTA Online fans will see another new update being introduced in the game. With the arrival of this new update, two modes will be gone from the game, although temporarily. As per the information that has come to the fore via a recent newswire post, San Andreas Super Sport Series and Open Wheel Races will be chucked out of the game.

In the past, the developer has made an announcement about some gameplay improvements being introduced in the game by rotating a few game modes. What Rockstar is about to do with the upcoming mode is in sync with what it had announced earlier. By sharing a post on X, the gaming studio confirmed the arrival of the new GTA Online update. The update will be live on October 3.

The tweet posted by the official X account of Rockstar Games read, “Starting next week, Open Wheel Races and the San Andreas Super Sport Series are being rotated out to make room for returning favorite Halloween modes — and look for all kinds of surprises throughout October — including a brand-new Survival set in North Yankton’s Ludendorff Cemetery.”
The North Yankton’s Ludendroff Cemetery happens to be an unreleased drip-feed content that will be launched next week with the Bottom Dollar Bounties DLC. Though one does not know a lot about this update at the moment, players can look forward to engaging in a battle with a bunch of zombies. Once the update arrives on October 3, one will have better clarity about it.

The Open Wheel Races that are available to be played this week are Urban Renewal, New Wave, Height of Society, Lap it Up, In Due Course, Road to Ruin, Brace for Impact, Top of the Town, It’s a Sign, Life’s a Beach, Keeping Track, Abridged, Headwind and Dam.
The San Andreas Super Sport Series, which will be available till next week, comprises El Gordo Threeway, Sandy Shores, La Mesa, Vespucci, Trenchway, Vinewood, Altruist Camp, Fort Zancudo, Arcadius, Bolingbroke Bowl, Palmer-Taylor, Chiliad Peak Raceway, Waterway, City Slick, Downtown and Double Helix.
