Meizu 16 and Meizu 16 Plus are the upcoming flagship phones from Meizu that are scheduled to go official on August 8.
Meizu’s founder Jack Wong has also confirmed that the company will be launching the Snapdragon 710 powered Meizu X8 in the near future. It seems that apart form Meizu 16, 16 Plus and X8, Meizu has plans to launch some smartphones in the near future as newer models such as Meizu M8, M8 Lite, Note 8 and few more have been certified by Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) in Russia.
The EEC authority has certified the following upcoming Meizu phones such as:
- M872H – Meizu 16
- M882H – Meizu 16th (could be Meizu 16 Plus)
- M819H – Meizu C9 Pro
- M818H – Meizu C9
- M816H – Meizu M8 Lite
- M813H – Meizu M8
- M822H – Meizu Note8
- M852H – Meizu NoteX
Some rumors that had surfaced earlier in the year had revealed that the Meizu Note 8 could be fueled by Exynos 9610 SoC. The rumor mill is yet to reveal information on the specs of M8, M8 Lite, C9, C9 Pro and NoteX smartphones. In May, Meizu M8c Lite (Android Go phone) and Meizu M8c smartphones were certified by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC). It seems that the newly spotted Meizu M8 and M8 Lite could be the European editions of M8c and M8c Lite.
