Verizon has released July 2021 security update for Galaxy Note 10, Note 10+, Galaxy S21 5G, S21+ 5G, S21 Ultra 5G, while the Moto G Power (2021) is receiving June 2021 security patch.
Samsung has already rolled out July 2021 security patch for a bunch of its Galaxy devices including the Galaxy Note 10 series, Galaxy S21 series in various regions. Now, Verizon has released the newest security patch to Galaxy Note 10, Note 10+, Galaxy S21 5G, S21+ 5G, and S21 Ultra 5G. Moto G Power (2021) is also receiving a month older June 2021 security patch with the new update.
Samsung Galaxy Note 10 and Galaxy Note 10+
Galaxy Note 10 and Note 10+ on Verizon carrier are receiving a new software update that brings July 2021 security patch. It is a minor security patch update and does not bring new features, improvements, or UI changes. The new update is rolling out as the system update number 23 for Verizon’s Galaxy Note 10 and Note 10+.
Samsung Galaxy S21 5G, S21+ 5G, and S21 Ultra 5G
System update 6 is now rolling out to Verizon-bound Samsung Galaxy S21 5G, Galaxy S21+ 5G, and Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G. It brings the July 2021 security patch that fixes dozens of system security and privacy-related vulnerabilities. The changelog does not mention any other changes apart from a new security patch.
Moto G Power (2021)
Verizon is sending system update 1 to Moto G Power (2021) that brings June 2021 security patch. It is not the latest security patch, but it fixes a bunch of security vulnerabilities. Therefore, it’s always recommended to keep your device updated with the latest security patch available.
