Xiaomi 14T and 14T Pro to Include the ‘Circle to Search’ Feature

Chinese smartphone manufacturer Xiaomi is all set to launch its Xiaomi 14T lineup.

The series comprising the Xiaomi 14T and Xiaomi 14T Pro will officially be released in the home country China in the last week of September this year. It has already been said that AI support will be a major highlight of the 14T series.

Circle to Search

As part of the AI focus, the 14T and 14T Pro will come with the Circle to Search feature already installed. This feature was first introduced by Samsung in its Galaxy S24 series and was later adopted by Google in its Pixels handsets. It will help users specifically with image searches by highlighting or circling a specific portion of an image.

Apart from this AI feature, the smartphones will support other Gemini-powered AI functions from Google such as AI Voice Recorder, AI Notes, AI Subtitles, and AI Interpreter.

Other Xiaomi 14T Specifications

Based on past reports, the 14T will have an IP 68 rating and a 6.67-inch OLED panel with 2712 x 1120 resolution and 144 Hz refresh rate. The smartphone will have a triple camera setup on its rear panel comprising a 50 MP main camera with a Sony IMX906 sensor, a 12 MP ultra-wide sensor, and a 50 MP telephoto camera. For selfies and video calls, the handset will have a 32 MP shooter.

The 14T smartphone will come with 12 GB RAM and 512 GB expandable storage and house a MediaTek Dimensity 8300 Ultra chipset under the hood. It will be powered by a 5,000 mAh battery with 67 W wired charging support and charges from 0% to 100% in just 45 minutes.

The Xiaomi 14T Pro will be similar to the 14T with just a couple of differences. The Pro variant will house a MediaTek Dimensity processor and a 5500 mAh battery with 120 W wired charging support.

Both smartphones will come with Android 14 topped with the manufacturer’s HyperOS loaded out of the box.
