Earlier this year, in February, Xiaomi released its Xiaomi 14 and 14 Ultra as part of the 14 Series.
Now the company is working on the next-gen Xiaomi 15 series and leaks and rumors have started doing the rounds.
Xiaomi 15 series will have Xiaomi 15 and Xiaomi 15 Ultra smartphones. While the release of the Xiaomi 15 series is about six months away, one of the first leaks has come in from the reputed tipster Ice Universe and he shares some important details about the camera sensor.

Xiaomi 15 Ultra will have four cameras at the rear and the recent leak suggests that one of the sensors will be 200MP with 4x zooming capability. This indicates that it will be a periscopic telephoto camera sensor. This new sensor will make loyal Xiaomi fans happy and this will enable it to compete with flagships from other brands. Regarding the other 3 sensors, we have no information yet.
Rumored Specs
While Xiaomi 14 Ultra debuted with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, the 15 Ultra is expected to arrive with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 SoC. The phone will have a double-layer OLED panel. The display is likely to have a 2K resolution and support refresh rate of up to 120 Hertz. The fingerprint sensor in 14 Ultra was optical in-display type, the 15 Ultra fingerprint sensor will be of ultrasonic in-screen type.

The top-end variant of the Xiaomi 15 Ultra smartphone will have 24 gigs RAM and 1TB storage capacity. The battery capacity could be 6200 mAh and the OS will be Android 15, which will have a layer of Hyper OS 2.0 on top.
Rumors also indicate that Xiaomi 15 Pro will be exclusive to the Chinese market but whether it will be rebranded as some other phone for other regions is just anyone’s guess.
