Xiaomi Mi 6S has appeared in a Geekbench listing and it is likely to be an upgraded version of its predecessor Xiaomi Mi 6.
As always, there isn’t much to figure out about the device from Geekbench. All we know is that it comes with 6GB RAM and is powered by Qualcomm MSM8998 processor which is the Snapdragon 835. The device is likely to ship with Android 9 out of the box as can be seen in the listing. The single core score is 1747 whereas multi core score is 7039 respectively. The clock speed of the octa core processor is 2.11 GHz.
Xiaomi Mi 6S might also have a 4GB variant just like Mi 6. We can expect dual rear cameras with more than 12MP and either a single or dual camera in the front. For more information about this smartphone, we have to wait till the official announcement.
Xiaomi Mi 6S Release Date
Xiaomi has scheduled a launch event on October 15 and the company is expected to launch Mi Mix 3 on that date. Rumor mills suggest that Xiaomi Mi Note 4, which was supposed to be launched on Sep 15 but wasn’t, could be revealed as well.
Now that Xiaomi Mi 6S has appeared in Geekbench just before a release event, let’s wait for a couple of days to see if the company has surprise plans to announce this model as well.
