Xiaomi’s 2019 flagship phone, the Xiaomi Mi 9 has appeared on Geekbench today ahead of its launch event that will take place tomorrow in China at 2 PM.
Update:
We have now found a new Geekbench listing of Xiaomi Mi 9 Transparent Edition. The major difference between the Mi 9 listing we found and reported earlier in the day with this one is the RAM variant. This new Transparent edition phone has 12GB RAM whereas the original Mi 9 we saw had just 8GB RAM, albeit with better scores.
Lei Jun confirmed in a weibo post yesterday that Xiaomi Mi 9 Transparent Edition is in the works. He also confirmed that it would have a 48-MP camera with 7-piece lens and f/1.47 aperture. The glass would be so thin that it’s merely 0.4 mm, which is roughly the thickness of 4 sheets of A4 paper stacked together.
