The Xiaomi Mix Flip 2 was recently listed on the EEC Certification platform with its 2505APX7BG.
The Chinese variant of Xiaomi Mix Flip 2 has just one small change in its model number with the “G” being replaced by “C”. This was followed by a leak by a popular tipster that the foldable will be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Elite processor from Qualcomm under its hood.
A new leak from a tipster That_Kartikey on the popular X platform hints at the battery size and overall profile of the upcoming smartphone.
Xiaomi Mix Flip 2 Battery Size
The Mix Flip 2 is expected to feature a battery with a capacity ranging between 5600 mAh and 5700 mAh. This will be a big leap compared to the battery in the predecessor Mix Flip with a 4780 mAh capacity. Interestingly, the handset will be the first foldable in the world to draw its juice from such a large battery.

The leak additionally states that the Mix Flip 2 will not only be lighter than its predecessor but also have a slimmer form factor. To recall, the Mix Flip has a weight of approximately 190 g and a thickness of 7.6 mm.
The details of the above leak fall in line with a statement from the noteworthy tipster Digital Chat Station that the smartphone will have significant upgrades over the previous generation smartphone.
Other Mix Flip Specifications
The first-generation Mix Flip has a 4.01-inch cover screen and an AMOLED 6.86-inch flexible display with a 1.5K resolution. The handset has a main camera and a telephoto snapper with 2x optical zoom on the back. Both shooters have a resolution of 50 MP.

On the front, the selfie camera has a 32 MP resolution. The smartphone is equipped with 12 GB RAM and 256 GB storage.
Going by earlier reports, the Xiaomi Mix Flip 2 will compete with Motorola’s next-generation Razr and Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 in 2025. It is anticipated to be launched by the manufacturer in the first half of this year.
