The handset has appeared with preliminary specs on the database of the Chinese regulatory body. It is expected to go official later in this week. Redmi Note 7 Pro images that have appeared in TENAA show similarities to the design of Redmi Note 7.
The M1901F7BE TENAA listing reveals that it measures 159.21 x 75.21 x 8.1 mm and it is same as the Redmi Note 7. Also, the newly spotted device has a 6.3-inch display and a 3,900 mAh (minimum) battery. These specs are also same as the Redmi Note 7 phone. Hence, it is being speculated that the new smartphone could be the Redmi Note 7 Pro that is expected to get announced this week.
The Redmi Note 7 Pro is confirmed to arrive with 6 GB of RAM and Sony IMX586 48-megapixel primary sensor on its rear. The Note 7 phone has a native storage of 64 GB. We can expect Note 7 Pro to have 128 GB of storage. Rumors are rife that the Snapdragon 675 SoC will be powering the Redmi Note 7 Pro.
Last week, Lu Weibing had shared a live image of the smartphone. The image showed the Redmi Note 7 Pro along with the Honor V20 phone. The executive had claimed that the Redmi Note 7 Pro will be sporting a premium-looking rear panel with gradient finish. A fingerprint reader is also available on the backside of the phone.
Redmi is yet to confirm the launch date of the smartphone. Weibing has recently hinted that the phone may carry a price tag of less than 2,000 Yuan ($297). The Chinese manufacturer is also working on Redmi 7 series. Probably, the company will be announcing the Redmi 7 phones by the end of March or early in second quarter to the year.
