ZTE has managed to hit all the right notes with phones like the Axon 7.
It makes a lot of sense for the Chinese manufacturer to keep continuing to offer such phones. However, the next rumored product from the company seems to be a massive phablet which would just be perfect to fill the void left by the Samsung Galaxy Note 7. The ZTE Axon 7 MAX is set to be launched in the next few weeks, and several specifications of the phone have already been leaked. Now, official renders and banners have effectively showcased the device before its official launch.
The ZTE Axon 7 MAX will come with a massive 6 inch display with excellent viewing angles and brightness levels thanks to the IPS technology. However, one of the few issues with the display may be its full HD resolution rather than QHD. On a screen as large as this, a QHD resolution would have been perfect in many ways. As it is, users may have to be happy with the 367 PPI on offer. It is expected that the phone will ship with android 7.0 out of the box.
It is not expected to be a powerhouse in terms of performance, as the ZTE Axon 7 MAX is only expected to have a snapdragon 625 processor on-board. Of course, it is expected to be assisted by 4 GB of RAM but this processor is unlikely to be as powerful as the snapdragon 821 range. As a result, one can expect slightly slower times when it comes to opening applications or making big computing processes. This slight deficiency in power could be overcome by the 4 GB of RAM which would allow excellent multitasking on the device.
Following the launch of the Apple iPhone 7 Plus with dual cameras, it would be fair to expect a number of manufacturers following suit. ZTE Axon 7 MAX is no different since it is rumored to have a dual 13-megapixel camera in the rear. The application of this setup would be clear only at a later stage, but it is expected to provide decent imaging capabilities due to its features like dual LED flash, phase detection autofocus, panorama, and HDR modes. The internal storage of 64 GB will be quite sufficient even for a number of heavy games, but it remains to be seen as ZTE Axon 7 MAX will support memory cards.
