The 2017 Honda CR-V is official!
The company has listed the pricing for the base model, the trimlines available and if you are planning to pre-order the car there’s a full customizer tool to get the colors you need before taking delivery.
The popular compact crossover starts at a base price of $24,045 for the Honda CR-V LX variant. The standard features found in the entry level model includes LED Daytime lights, 17-inch alloy wheels combined with multi-angle rearview camera that makes viewing easy. The design of the crossover SUV has undergone some changes to get rid of the boxy look and give it a more suave appearance. We can comfortably say that the designers have accomplished it with sleek, aggressive front headlights mounted on rounded bonnet and a seamless rear end.
Under the hood, the entry level 2017 Honda CR-V LX edition is powered by a 4-cylinder 2.4-liter inline engine. The powertrain is capable of delivering about 184 horsepower coupled with 180 lb feet of torque. All the other trimlines of the SUV including the EX, EX-L and the Touring variants are powered by a 4-cylinder 1.5-liter engine capable of producing about 190 horsepower coupled with 179 lb feet of torque.
The EX edition has features like Honda Sensing technology, smart entry walk away feature and has a large 7-inch touchscreen display to control the infotainment system. The model is priced at $26,695. These features also comprise of every other component found in the LX edition. The next in the line is the EX-L which addition to the said features above also includes leather trimmed interiors for posh comfort, power adjustable seating, tailgate and auto-dimming rearview mirror. It costs $29,195.
The top of the line, the CR-V Touring is priced the highest at $32,395 and has all the features in the other trimlines. Exclusive features found in the car include full LED headlights, handsfree access to the tailgate, satellite navigation system and windshield wipers with rain sensors. Multitude range of safety features are incorporated in all models with Honda Sensing. The technology brings lane keeping assist, adaptive cruise control, collision prevention system and road departure warning system providing the much needed assurance for passengers.
