The pricing and trimlines available for the 2017 Kia Soul has been detailed by the company.
It has been refreshed with some minor design changes and a stylish interior finish.
The base model of the 2017 Kia Soul is priced at $24,990 and surprisingly, the pricing is lower than the outgoing model. The Soul edition was priced earlier at $26,990 which didn’t include on-road costs but the new edition is more than $2,000 lower. It also includes on-road costs and buyers can drive the vehicle away as soon as they pay the said cost.
Some of the new changes spotted on the Soul includes a brand new grille which gives a sporty look to the front end of the car, bigger front bumper, air intakes, fog lights, stylish alloy wheel design with reflectors. The revised center fascia includes stylish new seat trims, metal painted steering wheel bezel and has cloth trim on the interior side of the doors.
On top of the dashboard, you will find a 5-inch infotainment display capable of allowing driver and passengers to control multiple functionalities available in the car. There is a Drive mode select, an upgraded version of the popular FlexSteer system found in earlier Kia Soul products. It can now be used to adjust the engine mapping as well as the steering control of the car.
Buyers can choose between multiple paint jobs for the 2017 Kia Soul including a two tone solid paint job priced at $390, metallic paint at $520 and there is also a two tone metallic paint at $910. The car is about to get launched in the Australian region and there is no word on bringing it to the rest of the world.
Even if it finds its way to the US, UK among other countries, the pricing and powertrain options available in the Soul might vary. The 2017 Kia Soul might find a lot of potential buyers in Australia because of its popularity and the previous editions of the car has always witnessed great patronage from buyers in the region.
Under the hood, it is powered by a 1.6-liter turbocharged petrol engine system. Many amazing features found in the Soul’s international edition is not available for Australian buyers. It includes LED daytime running lights, navigation system, leather interiors, panoramic roof among many others. We can hope the auto manufacturer would add them in future trimline variants for the Soul.
