Samsung Galaxy A5, Galaxy A7 and Galaxy J3

Samsung is ready to refresh the 2016 Galaxy A5, Galaxy A7, and Galaxy J3 series and apparently, these phones could be launched in early December.

A lot has been out there about these three phones and perhaps, it is only Samsung Galaxy J3 2017 that seems new to the fold. As far as Samsung Galaxy A5 2017 is concerned, new reports are emerging suggesting that the midrange smartphone will come in four color variants. Lots of leaked images and renders have been released regarding this Galaxy A5 2017 phone, but Samsung has yet to confirm the official release date of the new A series.

Nonetheless, the phone will reportedly come in blue, black, pink and gold color variants. Whether the hues will similar to the Galaxy S7 or not is still unclear, but it would be a welcome idea. In terms of specs, Samsung Galaxy A5 2017 should come with a 5.2-inch Full HD 1080p screen with an Exynos 7880 processor and 3GB RAM. The storage will be a bit small at 16GB, but it can be expanded via a microSD card. The back of the phone will reportedly come with a 13MP camera and the battery will stand at 3000mAh. It shouldn’t be long before this phone is launched for it has already been certified for Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.

Samsung Galaxy A5 2017 has a larger sibling in the shape of Galaxy A7 2017. Like its counterpart, the latter has also been all over in the news outlets and just recently, it was confirmed that the phone has also passed Bluetooth certification. With this in mind, the only hurdle that remains it the FCC and the Galaxy A7 2017 will be here.

Samsung Galaxy A5 2017

Like the Galaxy A7 2016, it seems this year’s model won’t be making it to Europe. This was a strange decision from Samsung considering that the initial release of the Galaxy A series made it to the region, but this year saw only Galaxy A3 and A5 availed to European buyers.

Samsung Austria has gone official with a list of devices that can be used with the company’s Gear S3 smartwatch. On the list are the yet to be released Samsung Galaxy A5 2017 and Galaxy A3 2017, but there is no room for Samsung Galaxy A7 2017 – a huge indicator that the phone will not be sold in the European country.

So, what will European consumers be missing on? According to reports, the Galaxy A7 2017 should come with a huge 5.5-inch Full HD screen with a similar 7880 processor, 3GB RAM but a larger storage of 64GB – four times the amount available on the Galaxy A5 2017. There is also talk of a massive 16MP selfie camera alongside IP68 dust and water resistance rating, just like the high-end Galaxy S7.

As far as the Galaxy J series is concerned, the company’s lowest-end version – Samsung Galaxy J3 2017 – has reportedly made an appearance on GFXBench. Lots of leaks have been out there about this phone, including its image and model number. Now, the latest to come from benchmarking site GFXBench gives us an insight into what specs and features the 2017 Galaxy J3 will come with.
