Skoda is going to further expand their lineup with a range of compact SUVs.
The 2017 Skoda Karoq is already popular because it is going to replace the existing Yeti with a brand new look, improved fuel efficiency and better performance that would place Skoda ahead of their competitors.
The automobile manufacturer has confirmed that they have a launch event scheduled to take place on May 18th. The Karoq SUV will be officially launched during this event but days before the launch, they have released a couple of teaser images giving a good idea of how the car would look. However, the team has kept the actual car under wraps as the teaser image is more of a shadowy image. The front fascia of the car is very much like other Skoda models and it is a delightful surprise to see that the Kodiaq is going to just vanish.
Instead, the designers have opted to pick design inspirations from the outgoing Kodiaq model so that it could live on with the new 2017 Skoda Karoq SUV. The front grille is chrome trimmed and buyers do have the option to go for full LED headlights if they like to. It also features C-shaped taillights and uses LED technology to offer maximum visibility even when driving in demanding conditions.
Skoda has built a strong design language throughout the years and it is being carried out in the new SUV with lots of vertical lines throughout the car. The interiors sport some minor changes and may not look exactly like the outgoing model. According to the design team, the dashboard has been divided into different sections like the tall upper and the narrower lower section. Digital dials adorn the dashboard which has a soothing blue lighting that adds a sophisticated outlook to the mini SUV.
It is expected that the model will arrive in stores towards the end of 2017. A prototype version of the Karoq has already been spotted and those who had the opportunity to drive it around confirmed that it offers a very cool SUV experience. The final car in full metal will be revealed by next week. Spacing and storage space is essential for any SUV, be it big or small. The 2017 Volkswagen Karoq has 521 liters of space when it is used by passengers and if you can fold the seats, it offers an amazing 1,630 liters of storage space. The SUV is powered by 1.0-liter turbo petrol, 1.4-liter and another top of the line 2.0-liter diesel engine variant.
