The 2018 Dacia Duster SUV has been unveiled by the company much earlier before its big Frankfurt Motor Show launch.
The car is a budget friendly vehicle and an easy pick for those who wants a spacious car that supports 4×4 driving.
The Duster was originally launched to bridge the gap between SUVs and large sedans by offering the best of both worlds. Throughout the generations, the designers at Dacia has made some amazing tweaks to make it much better than the original edition. The newest version of the SUV features a spacious interior cabin combined with a lot of attractive exterior changes and an overhauled cabin.
For the convenience of buyers, the automobile brand offers both petrol and diesel engine variants. The same powertrain as the outgoing model is used but it has been tweaked to provide better performance while being fuel efficient at the same time. The 2018 Dacia Duster sports a 1.2-liter petrol engine variant and a 1.5-liter diesel engine. The dimensions of the SUV remains largely unchanged because it is mounted on the same platform as the outgoing edition but the components and the panel used in the body has been altered to give it a more conventional look.
The height of the bonnet and the belt line has been considerably increased providing a safe feeling for the passengers. Some of the highlight changes in the 2018 Dacia Duster SUV are the LED running lights, aluminium accented roof bars, 17-inch alloy wheels. For the longevity of the car, the designers have incorporated silver skid plates, both in the front and the rear. The rugged plates are scratch resistant and will keep the car looking fresh for years to come.
Despite all the sporty changes and the looks, the Duster SUV is said to be a family friendly car and the brand believes that it will be appealing to everyone. The infotainment is upgraded as expected with support for Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The Dacia Duster has acquired three stars in the crash tests conducted by the NCAP in Europe and is safe enough. Yet, the manufacturer provides an additional safety pack that buyers could pay extra to get. It includes autonomous braking, driving assist and active technology to safeguard your ride.
The 2018 Dacia Duster SUV will be launched in France first and will soon find its way to UK dealership stores in summer 2018.
