When the car is equipped with Android Auto, it makes it easier for you to connect your Android phone or tablet to share data, cast music and do a lot of other activities such as making phones calls using the surround sound system. Manufacturers like Honda, Chevrolet and BMW have already adopted the technology in almost all their models so as to reach the general crowd. After implementing Android Auto and Apple CarPlay in all popular models, the industry is now turning towards conventional supercars to turn them more sophisticated and digital. The 2018 Lamborghini Aventador S is one of the most powerful cars ever created powered by a V12 engine capable of delivering 740 horsepower. The all-wheel-drive uses rear-wheel steering to offer maximum control even at top speed.
The Android update is a year late compared to Apple Auto which was rolled out for Lamborghini Aventador models back in 2017. The company’s official website also lists the cars that will soon receive the upgrade. The upcoming models including Lamborghini Centenario 2016 edition which is already available, 2019 Huracan and 2018 Urus will all get Android Auto making it easier for users to connect with their automobile.
Surprisingly, Lamborghini was slowly to sign a deal with Google as the current Aventador is the only model to support the technology. The big difference between a commuter’s car and these uber expensive premium models is that buyers would always look for performance, engine power among many other features rather than smartphone connectivity as it caters to automobile aficionados.
Android Auto has come a long way since launch but users still opine that it is extremely slow to respond to commands and has lots of bugs that hinder the experience. Accessing data and sharing media with your car using the Android technology may hinder your Lamborghini experience than enhance it. The impressive specifications of this car, however,are on a whole new level and if you could afford it, the car can blow your mind off with its horsepower, comfort and the driving experience which can only experience in a Lamborghini.
