The upcoming Samsung A-series tablet has appeared on the database of Singapore’s IMDA authority.
Well, this is not the first time that the device has been spotted. In the recent past, it has been approved by the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) in Russia, Federal Communications Commission (FCC) in the U.S, Bluetooth SIG and Wi-Fi Alliance. Official information obtained from these certifications confirm that the moniker of this tablet is Galaxy Tab A and it is a mid-range tablet with a display size of 8 inches.

Apart from SM-T295 model that has appeared on IMDA, other certification bodies have revealed that SM-T295C, SM-T295N and SM-T297 are all LTE variants of the same device. The Wi-Fi only edition of the tablet has a model number of SM-T290. The Wi-Fi Alliance and Bluetooth SIG certifications of the SM-T295 model had revealed that it carries support dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2 and it is loaded with Android 9 Pie OS.
SM-T295 tablet has already been certified as Android Enterprise Recommended device by Google well ahead of its launch. The Google listing had revealed that it will be arriving with an 8-inch display, 2 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage. The tablet does not feature a fingerprint scanner and it lacks support for NFC connectivity.

There is a listing of SM-T295 tablet on the Google Play Console device catalog. The listing has revealed that it is powered by the Snapdragon 429 chipset that works at 2.0 GHz. It also stated that the 8-inch display of the device supports 800 x 1280 pixels resolution. There is no information available on the configurations of the front and rear cameras of the Samsung device. The launch date or pricing of the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2019) tablet is not known yet! Given the fact that the device has been certified by several websites across different countries, launch can be expected within 4 to 6 weeks.
