Upcoming Lenovo Z6 smartphone with model number Lenovo L78121 has been found in the benchmarking platform Geekbench today.
As always, we have got very limited details from the Geekbench listing and it confirms that the phone will be powered by Android 9 Pie OS and will have RAM of 8 GB. The processor information hasn’t been specified but the phone will have an octa core processor that clocks at 1.8GHz. The Geekbench scores for this phone can be seen as 2556 and 6763 in single and multi-core scores. The scores are better than the Geekbench scores of Lenovo Z6 Lite released recently.
Going by the clock speed of 1.8GHz, the processor could well be Snapdragon 730 SoC. Phones like Xiaomi Mi 9T and Samsung A80 (A90) that were recently released with Snapdragon 730 had the same clock speed of 1.8GHz.
A few days ago, Lenovo’s VP Chang Cheng had shared a few image teasers through his weibo account revealing the looks of the new Lenovo Z6, the successor of Z5. Though the images only show the lower half of the phone on the rear side, it is safe to say that the phone will have a shiny coating and will come with Blue and Brown color variants.
Recently, Lenovo L78121 was certified by both CCC and TENAA agencies in China. The CCC listing revealed that the phone would come with 18W rapid charging capacity. The TENNA listing, however, hasn’t revealed any specs yet and the listing is still empty as of now. We can expect the listing to be updated in the next few days. We can also expect more teasers and information from none other than Lenovo’s VP himself as he hasn’t shied away from revealing key details about new phones ahead of launch.
