`Alcatel is not a household name in the smartphone industry, however, it has some exciting devices to offer, especially in the Windows niche.
This doesn’t mean that there are no offerings in the Android ecosystem. In fact, you will find a number of interesting Alcatel-made phones with the latest Android Marshmallow version. There are great choices from the Alcatel Idol 4 family as well and with the Alcatel Pixi 4 Plus Power, you will be treated to a phone that is indeed unique and rare.
Not so many will enjoy the name of this phone – Alcatel Pixi 4 Plus Power – it sounds weird and it’s extremely long for a phone. But this aside and onto the core business. The Pixi 4 Plus Power packs an impressive 5000mAh battery unit, something that no flagship phone, even from the likes of Samsung and HTC, currently offers. Given the budget specs of the Alcatel Pixi 4 Plus Power, it is possible that this battery capacity could push you through days on a single charge.
So, what are these budget specs in question? The Pixi 4 Plus Power carries a roomy 5.5-inch display screen with only 720p of resolution. There is possibly a MediaTek SoC on board that is paired with a RAM of 1GB and inbuilt storage of just 8GB. But there is nothing to worry about as you get a microSD card slot for expanding the storage. The front and back cameras have 13MP lenses and the phone comes with support for dual-SIM, Wi-Fi and well as Bluetooth, however, there is no LTE support.
From these specs, the battery of the Alcatel Pixi 4 Plus Power should have an easy time powering them. But how many will this huge battery unit attract to the Pixi 4 Plus Power? Probably not so many. Still, those who opt to get the phone will still be able to fast charge the huge battery, a feature that everyone will welcome with open arms.
The pricing is not yet known, but it should be confirmed very soon. Assuming the pricing is right, would you get one for yourself or maybe a loved one? Share your views in the comments.
