Alleged Oppo Reno variants with model numbers CPH1921 and CPH1919 have been approved by Bluetooth SIG body and one of them is a 5G phone.
The Bluetooth certification of these phones have revealed their key specs. In fact, both the Oppo phones are packed with identical specs. However, the only major difference is that the Oppo CPH1921 is a 5G-ready device whereas the CPH1919 could be its non-5G version.
Oppo has already confirmed that the Oppo Reno is the upcoming flagship phone from the company. A recent report had claimed that the Oppo Reno will be announced in LTE only and 5G enabled versions. Hence, the newly spotted CPH1921 could be the 5G Oppo Reno phone whereas the CPH1919 could be its regular version.
The Oppo CPH1921 and CPH1919 Oppo phones are powered by Snapdragon 8150 chipset which is the 7nm Snapdragon 855 SoC from Qualcomm. These devices are fitted with 6.65-inch display that supports full HD+ resolution. For photography, these handsets are equipped with 48-megapixel + 8-megapixel + 13-megapixel triple camera setups and 16-megapixel front-facing cameras. The devices are loaded with ColorOS V6.0. As mentioned above, the only difference the two devices are that the CPH1921 is equipped with 5G support whereas the CPH1919 lacks it.
The Bluetooth SIG body had certified an Oppo phone with model number CPH1917. The same smartphone was approved as Oppo Reno by the IMDA authority of Singapore. It had revealed that the phone is equipped with a smaller 6.4-inch full HD+ resolution supporting screen, a less powerful Snapdragon 710 chipset, a dual camera setup with 48-megapixel and 5-megapixel camera sensors and 16-megapixel selfie snapper.
These Bluetooth certifications show that the Oppo Reno that is scheduled to go official on April 10 in China will be available in three models. These include a regular SD855 model, a 5G model powered by the same SD855 and a lower variant with SD710.
