China’s CCC website has approved a new smartphone with model number 24090RA29C and it’s likely to belong to the upcoming Xiaomi’s Redmi Note 14.
The certification has revealed that the phone will come with 5G support and a fast charging speed of up to 45W. The power adapter will bear the model MDY-17-EE. To compare this with last year’s Xiaomi Redmi Note 13, the predecessor of Note 14, the former had support for 33W fast charging and was powered by the Dimensity 6080 processor.
Other specs of Redmi Note 14 are not known as of now and 3C is just the first certification to reveal some detail about the phone. So we’ll have to wait for the phone to bag more certifications across the globe to know more details about its specs and features.

Last month, China’s MIIT certification website already approved three model numbers of Xiaomi namely 24115RA8EC, 24094RAD4C, and 24094RAD4C. We’re not sure what these models could be named and have to wait for further reports to emerge.
While Redmi Note 14’s 24090RA29C is the model variant for China, as indicated by the ‘C’ at the end of the model number, this phone is also expected to be released in India. The Indian variant will have the model number 24090RA29I, with ‘I’ as the suffix. The Global variant will also be there and its model number will be 24090RA29G. Both these models have already popped up in GSM’s IMEI database.

Rumor mills indicate that the Note 14 series, which will have Note 14 Pro and Note 14 Pro+ phones, will boast Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 and Dimensity 7350 chipsets respectively. The main camera is likely to be a 50MP sensor and the curved OLED screen will extend support for 1.5K resolution.
