A Xiaomi phone with model number M1906F9SH has appeared at the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) in the U.S.
The M1906F9SC model number belongs to the Xiaomi Mi CC9e smartphone that has recently gone official in China. The FCC appearance of M1906F9SH indicates that the phone is gearing up for an international release. Soon after the launch of Mi CC9e, some rumors had claimed that it could be arriving in markets outside of China as Xiaomi Mi A3 Lite. The FCC documents confirm its dimensions and rear design.
The M1906F9SH FCC listing reveals that it measures 153 x 71mm. The image of the rear panel of the phone shows that it has an elongated cutout for vertical triple camera setup and it also features a dedicated cutout for its LED flash. Apart from FCC, the Xiaomi M1906F9SH has also bagged approval from Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) in Russia.
The Xiaomi Mi CC9e features a 6.01-inch AMOLED display that supports HD+ resolution of 760 x 1520 pixels. The screen is protected by Gorilla Glass 5. It runs on MIUI 10 based Android 9 Pie OS. The Snapdragon 665 chipset is present under the hood of the device along with up to 6 GB of RAM. It has an internal storage of up to 128 GB.
The rear side of the Mi CC9e features a vertical triple camera unit with a 48-megapixel wide-angle lens with f/1.8 aperture as primary sensor, an 8-megapixel ultrawide lens and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. It has a front-facing camera of 32-megapixel. The smartphone is backed by a 4,030 mAh battery that carries support for 18W fast charging.
The handset features an in-screen fingerprint reader and carries support for face unlock. While the rumor mill is speculating that it could be Xiaomi Mi A3 Lite, there is possibility that some markets may receive it as Redmi 7 Pro.
